why this machine is called a JCO pipe forming machine.
JCO means three forming steps: J shape, C shape, and O shape.
First, the steel plate is pre-bent at both edges.
Then the forming press bends one side step by step into a J shape.
After that, the plate is pressed further into a C shape.
Finally, both sides are formed into an O shape, ready for welding into a large diameter pipe.
Compared with a normal plate rolling machine, JCO forming is more suitable for large diameter, thick wall, and high-standard straight seam pipes.
It is widely used for LSAW pipes, oil and gas pipelines, structural pipes, and pressure pipe projects.
If you are not sure whether your pipe should use plate rolling, JCO forming, or JCOE production line, feel free to send me your pipe diameter, thickness, length, and application.
